TWO FRIARGATE has received a Platinum Certification from WiredScore. Coventry’s new premier office building achieved the highest grade from the world leader in building technology certification.
This globally recognised accolade for the latest addition to the new 37-acre Friargate business district, cements TWO FRIARGATE’s position as one of Coventry’s most exciting developments in a generation.
WiredScore sets a global standard for connectivity in commercial real estate. The organisation champions buildings providing a cutting-edge digital experience for occupants and users. TWO FRIARGATE is the first office building in Coventry to receive WiredScore’s highest certification. The property excels in the four key WiredScore measurements, including its capacity to adapt to future innovations in digital technology.
TWO FRIARGATE, which is being supported by Coventry City Council and the West Midlands Combined Authority, is now nearing completion and is set to welcome its first occupants in April 2023. Tenants of the Grade A office space in Coventry’s city centre will not only benefit from world-leading connectivity, but also enjoy a working environment designed to inspire a positive and productive modern workforce.
Delivering the best
Platinum certification from WiredScore is the latest accolade Coventry City Council is seeking to achieve for TWO FRIARGATE. The list includes a BREEAM Excellent rating, putting the building among the top 10% of new non-domestic buildings for sustainability. The council is also seeking an EPC A rating for energy efficiency, vitally important for any occupier.
Speaking of the certification, Cllr Jim O’Boyle, Cabinet Member for Jobs, Regeneration and Climate Change at Coventry City Council, said:
“TWO FRIARGATE promises to be a hub of business activity that will drive forward economic growth and prosperity for Coventry. We understand that to empower businesses and organisations to reach their potential, they need access to cutting-edge digital connectivity. That is why TWO FRIARGATE features state-of-the-art digital capabilities, which were recognised in this globally significant certification.”
TWO FRIARGATE’s occupiers and visitors will also enjoy improved transport connections to economic hubs across the country. This notably includes the newly regenerated Coventry Railway Station located adjacent to the development.
