As construction of Coventry’s state-of-the-art office building nears completion, the team behind the project has released new internal and external imagery of TWO FRIARGATE.
Even before its opening, the 12-storey property has already had a massive impact on the city. Construction has created more than 450 jobs for local people and over 40 small and medium-sized businesses have been involved in its delivery.
A vision of the future
The stunning images that have been unveiled are sure to spark the imagination of potential occupiers – showcasing a range of benefits, from the flexibility of the floor plates to the spectacular views from TWO’s rooftop terrace.
Scott Rutherford, Partner at Cushman & Wakefield, said:
“This development is one of the most exciting commercial opportunities in the West Midlands. This new TWO FRIARGATE imagery shows the quality of what is on offer at the building, and the progress that has been made on-site.”
Shaped for sustainability
The new city landmark is the second property to be delivered as part of the Friargate Business District and is set to be Coventry’s most environmentally-friendly office building.
Shaped for sustainability, TWO FRIARGATE provides bright, highly efficient workspace, incorporating LED lighting and advanced high performance floor-to-ceiling glazing that delivers excellent natural light.
The building is heated by Heatline, the Coventry District Energy network – and one of the first of its kind in the UK, which utilises energy from waste for sustainable, low carbon, low cost heating.
As a result of all this, TWO FRIARGATE is set to receive a BREEAM Excellent rating, putting it in the top 10% of new, non-domestic buildings for sustainability.
An occupier’s dream
TWO FRIARGATE offers a range of other benefits that help occupiers to fulfil many of their ESG objectives. This includes enhanced team wellbeing through generous breakout spaces, superb air quality and excellent natural light.
Adjacent to the new Coventry Railway Station and the new Coventry bus interchange, TWO FRIARGATE provides incredible public transport links and is just minutes on foot to Coventry city centre. In addition, occupiers will have access to plenty of amenities on their doorstep. The building itself has a retail unit within and its neighbour, One Friargate, has a Coffee #1 artisan coffee shop, an ideal lunchtime venue. The wider Friargate business district is set to include bars and restaurants, and a new hotel is already under construction.
The building was also recently awarded a platinum Certification from WiredScore, in recognition of its cutting-edge digital connectivity – making it the most connected building in Coventry.
With the new TWO FRIARGATE imagery highlighting so many great reasons to take space, availability at these Coventry offices is likely to reduce at pace as the building nears completion.
Scott concluded:
“Interest has already been high. We know that businesses want access to exceptional talent, public transport and fantastic amenities – TWO FRIARGATE offers it all in the heart of Coventry.”
