Set over three days, UKREiiF 2023 took place in Leeds last week, bringing together over 7,000 attendees from across the built environment sector. Investors, occupiers, local authorities and sector specialists descended on the city for the UK’s leading investment and infrastructure forum.
TWO FRIARGATE, Coventry’s premier and most sustainable office building, was at the heart of Invest Coventry & Warwickshire‘s presence at UKREiiF. The partnership sent an expert delegation to promote the area and drive further investment into the city and region.
Shining a light on TWO FRIARGATE
Cllr Jim O’Boyle, Cabinet Member for Jobs, Regeneration and Climate Change said:
“UKREiiF is a unique event in the calendar, which brings together the whole built environment sector. It’s a place to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the industry in the year ahead.
“It is also a chance to showcase what Coventry & Warwickshire has to offer. As Coventry’s state-of-the-art office building, TWO FRIARGATE is one of the most exciting prospects in our portfolio.
“This property ticks all the boxes – it’s sustainable, in the heart of an advanced skills cluster and exceptionally well connected by road, rail and air. We enjoyed having conversations with potential investors and occupiers, who were excited by this opportunity on our doorstep.”
Collaboration and skills lead discussion
Sustainability, skills, connectivity and working in partnership were all at the heart of the conference’s debate. As Coventry’s most sustainable Grade A office building, TWO FRIARGATE was centre stage as one of the region’s major investment opportunities.
Led by Coventry City Council, with backing from the West Midlands Combined Authority, TWO FRIARGATE exemplifies collaborative working. It will enable occupiers to draw down on the outstanding skills profile of both Coventry and Warwickshire – with two world-leading universities, and a host of exceptional colleges.
Located immediately adjacent to Coventry Railway Station, TWO FRIARGATE is also the most well-connected office building in the region – with a WiredScore Platinum rating for excellent digital connectivity. For those occupiers looking for Grade A commercial offices, TWO FRIARGATE was a major highlight at UKREiiF 2023.
Investing in Coventry
UKREiiF 2023 was also a platform for Coventry & Warwickshire to showcase its wide range of investment opportunities. From the West Midlands Gigafactory and City Centre South, to Very Light Rail, Coventry Gateway and the Wellesbourne Innovation Campus – the region has become one of the most attractive places to invest in the UK.
Scott Rutherford, Head of Midlands Office Agency at Cushman & Wakefield, added:
“There is no doubt that TWO FRIARGATE is a compelling proposition for occupiers, and the conversations we had in Leeds reflected that.
“When compared with regional locations across the UK, let alone in the Midlands, TWO FRIARGATE stands out. It has everything modern occupiers demand of Grade A office space, not least its city centre location surrounded by an established business cluster, in the heart of a region that is really on the up.
“When set alongside the other exciting opportunities in Coventry & Warwickshire’s portfolio – from the West Midlands Gigafactory to Very Light Rail – it’s clear this region has a dynamic future.”
TWO FRIARGATE is now nearing completion and will be ready for occupation in Summer 2023.
